Supplier Search

What Is Supplier Search?

Supplier Search is a discovery tool that allows planners to find and connect with suppliers manually — outside of Reposite’s automated matching engine or RFP workflows. Whether you’re sourcing for a last-minute need, browsing new categories, or re-engaging past vendors, this search tool is designed to support your supplier outreach efforts with speed and accuracy.

Understanding “My Suppliers” in Supplier Search

The “My Suppliers” database is your personalized supplier network within Reposite — and it powers your Supplier Search results.

Here's how suppliers get added to "My Suppliers":

  • All premium suppliers in the Reposite network are automatically available to you and pre-loaded into your “My Suppliers” database. You don’t need to take any action to access them.

  • You can upload your organization’s preferred suppliers manually into your “My Suppliers” database.

  • When you publish an RFP to the Reposite Marketplace, any supplier that views, responds to, or is matched to your RFP will automatically be added to your supplier network.

📌 We recommend regularly publishing RFPs to the marketplace — it’s the fastest way to grow your supplier database with qualified, engaged vendors.

How to Search for Suppliers

The search bar accepts:

  • Supplier names (e.g., “ABC Hospitality Group”)

  • Category names (e.g., “XYZ Restaurant”)

Search results include matches based on either input. Typing full or partial names returns relevant results consistently. You can refine your results using a set of filters, described below.

Available Filters

Filters in Supplier Search help you narrow down results based on supplier category and service-specific criteria. The filters that appear are dynamic and change depending on the category you’ve selected. For example: the Activity category filters include activity type, group size, and supported languages, while Catering category filters include cuisine type, plating style, and whether full-service catering is available

You can also filter by:

  • Category – Choose the type of supplier you’re looking for (e.g., Transportation, Lodging, Activities).

  • Location – Select the area where you need the service. Location search respects the way suppliers have listed where they provide services:

    • If a supplier has category-level location data, that is prioritized

    • If no category-specific location is available, Reposite search references the supplier's Area Served on the supplier’s main profile

  • Project Name / RFP Name – Returns suppliers that match the criteria described in the selected Project or RFP, based on a positive match score. This helps surface suppliers who are well aligned with your past or current event needs, even if they were not directly involved in that specific RFP.

All filters in Supplier Search use AND logic — meaning a supplier must meet all selected criteria to appear in your results.

This approach helps you zero in on suppliers that are not only available, but also highly relevant to your event’s requirements.

Search Results and Supplier Cards

Each supplier appears in search as a card, which displays key information about the supplier and available categories. From the card, planners can:

  • View core supplier details

  • Access category-level service info

  • Send an RFP directly to the supplier.
